WEDA Hy.Board

WEDA has always been offering individualised hygiene concepts for pig farming. Especially in times when new infectious diseases, such as African swine fever, are spreading rapidly, the issue is becoming increasingly important.

In addition, the health and performance of the animals are now more than ever the basis for economically successful pig farming. WEDA Dammann & Westerkamp has reacted to this and is therefore now offering completely novel, closed pen modules made of plastic. Unlike conventional boards, the individual elements are hermetically sealed and cannot trap any bacteria or other sources of infection. 

The innovative Hy.Boards were developed exclusively for WEDA and are made of PVC. They are available in various customisable sizes. The Hy.Boards are easy to assemble and quick to clean. The welded ends ensure maximum hygiene in the house and prevent impurities from getting into the cavities of the individual boards.
